Map has been released, available at http://springfiles.com/spring/spring-maps/magic-forest.

The tree shaders only work under BA and BAR (and any other mod that uses the same version of jK's unitshader framework.)

Please report any bugs, and other mappers are free to use any parts of it. It is quite easy to add the gadgets, and to add features to the map that require animating.

In 82.7 the detail textures of the last map loaded reain in place. So if i played a tabula before, the ground of map is suddenly dessert. Please travell back in time and fix.

I allready did.. still.. why cant the dev s spare some time for fixxing old versions.. and spend all there time improving on the newer versions. I smell little brothers hating the first born syndrom here ;)

Very pretty. Nice landscape, and a neat idea with the glowy firefly things... that said I think the lighting might be too bright to go with the fireflies.

tried to play it with ZK but everyone crashed before getting in game

Godde deducted from log that com was actually trying to attack the trees because the trees are classed as units

sounds nuts to me

The trees are classed as units, but they are Neutral units, so comms shouldnt try to attack them unless ZK does something to force targetting on them.

I had some troubles with Roam on Gehenna Rising. Odd as it sounds.. if you push landscapedetail roughly over 200 you get detail in the distance and the equivalent of landscape 20 in the front..

I wouldnt bitch and complain if wouldnt test on that stuff. No probeLemmas so far on Smoths maps...

it's caused by limited size of tessellation alloc pool (iirc 5MB).

so once the pool is full, it can't split triangles any further. And cause it tessellates quads as a whole, the first ones are fully tessellated and the last ones don't got any alloc left and won't be tessellated at all.

Ive heard the trees all show up on radar and are kind of annoying lol

I hope these aren't like the other Beherith-brand trees like in altored remake that take me from 60fps to 10fps somehow
