Hi,
As a greatful user of the excellent maps produced by you guys, can I make a small request? Can you make sure that land is raised sufficiently above zero altitude that every dent in the terrain doesn't result in a puddle? Apart from the fact it looks silly it means that bit of terrain isn't usable any more - particularly bad for mex spots.
On a water map it's bad enough when this happens, but you can kind of rationalise it, but on a land map, it's bonkers when you see puddles start appearing!
Just use a construction unit to restore the area. This is more of a engine issue. There should be some kind of option, like setting the bottom layer of ground to be not deformable to the point beyond water.

Pooling of water can be prevented in a map by raising the entire height map until the low lying areas are around 50 points above the water table,, as long as you have the headroom for any high mountains this solves the problem, that's how I stopped it happening in Painted Desert, with the default terrain hardness a commy blowing up makes a crater 45 points deep.
