New release:

http://fabian.herb-clan.de/Spring-0.76b1+5552.dmg

Sorry, I currently have no time for bugfixing. This release only incorporates changes in SVN.

The issue with the savegames certainly is related to endian issues.
I don't think the random enemies script thing is mac specific.
I already noticed some sounds being messed up, but I didn't find the cause yet.
Always be sure to try several mods, some don't work, at least for me, e.g. Kernel Panic.

KAI now crashes on me...
infolog: http://pastebin.com/m1dec4419
crash report: http://pastebin.com/d10420263

And AAI plays somewhat erratically: builds more anti-air towers than LLT's, doesn't finish it's buildings and builds only AK's at first... (but IIRC it already did that in the previous version)

Well, yes, but it's not as practical as full screen (can you pan when the mouse it at the screen edge when in windowed mode?), also doesn't it negatively impact performance?

i agree. i find it useful only when testing maps or mods.

but i suspect that it's the only method available now.

but maybe├óÔé¼┬ªi'll have to try├óÔé¼┬ª

<EDIT>
sorry: doesn't work.

What is the preferences option to turn on Dynamic Water? Also, where can I find where the Windows version stores the settings file? I have it on my MacBook Pro and can't find the settings file anywhere.

Should be able to do it either SpringSettings, or doing "/water 2" in-game should do it.

In windows, the settings are stored in the registry, in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SJ\Spring iirc. I highly doubt dynamic water will work on a macbook pro though - it only works on GF6,7s and 8s, only runs acceptably fast on the higher-end cards of those series.

Remember that you have a settings list on the first page of this thread...

Unless you replace the shader with the fixed one :-)

Yes. It's in the svn, and there's a link in the H&B announcement post thing.

I have a Geforce 8600GT with 512MB VRAM in my laptop. /water 2 worked. Thanks! I had it on water 3. It runs well, but now I need to do the fix.
