Hi whatever I did I cant made proper .dds with PSP Please how to make the alpha stuff.... my best result is the entire texture being black in Upspring or totally unreaded
Just make a normal RGB image and a grayscale image for the teamcolor. When you're done load the RGB and add the grayscale to the alpha channel (in the DirectX texture tool or one of the other texture tools out there.)

Hi Zaphod, I success with PNG (for PSP)....I hopes spring engine could work with that...
Something I dont understand :
What I alpha-ed as transparant became textured in Upspring, and vice versa....
Do you really make Upspring read alpha channel in inverted ?
easy to solve though.... if u dont plan to change it Ill include it in my tutorial, otherwise Ill wait next version
