Looks like it crashes when trying to close spring.

Also, 88.0 not 0.88

that incorrect password thing happens to quite a lot of people, if you click rejoin enough times it will usually eventually work

I know, I usually need 4 or 5 /forcestart to start the game between the random crashes due to "ATI-bugs" and incorrect pwd. Notice it only happens since 0.87

Reported this on Mantis a while ago:

1.:
"This stack trace indicates a problem with your graphic card driver. Please try upgrading or downgrading it. Specifically recommended is the latest driver, and one that is as old as your graphic card. Make sure to use a driver removal utility, before installing other drivers."

2.: please test / use the single-threaded spring, MT is still badly tested / buggy.

I found 1. didn't help me but using Single Threaded did so I'm just using MT but trying to bear it atm

All I can say is this is the same "abnormal termination" you reported earlier. The stacktrace is unfortunately not helpful. I will see what I can do.

And the latest ATI driver hangs the window manager for me if I alt-tab. Nothing to do but reboot... windowed mode works better though.

FYI, all the bugs I reported here DOES NOT occur with UBUNTU 12.04 x64 but only with WINDOWS XP SP3.

So I guess that is either the windows implementation that is the problem, or the windows ATI drivers.

Actaully, I am using the MT version that is working really fine with ubuntu 12.04 and I experience ZERO crashes until now.

My guess is the win ATI drivers. You could also try different driver versions.
