I also get no self-shadows in gundamdev.sdd, but you aren't using the same gadget as S44

I don't get self shadows in BT either, only in S44 with normalmapping turned on (=> different shaders)

This is in 82.71.1 and I don't think it was caused by grts, seen as turning off normalmapping in s44 did the exact same thing before i ran gundam.

That is weird. Also the effect lingers after you go back to current public release. I deleted the dev build and went back to the old version with it still being bugged. :\.

Any clue on what the issue is? or what triggers it?

Ok, information found.

current/dev
The s44 shadows worked for me on the normal mapped stuff with jk's custom shader stuff.
but on regular units shit was busted.

so I talked with flozi, he suggested I get a driver update. That fixed the shadows issue! no idea how my drivers install repaired it but it did.

However, I found a new issue. So new thread.

Yep, updating graphics driver worked for me too.
