Aurora is the Dwarf Fortress of 4X strategy games.
Incredibly deep and ultimately very satisfying game.

This game sure is ugly and if it is even nearly as complicated as DF... uh.

Distant Worlds was alright, felt similar to Starships Unlimited: Divided Galaxies
