but in seriousness, it looks like they are lurking above the snowboard park... one does not simply enter the park; you have to wait your turn (or else the possibility of you throwing off someones concentration and causing injury to yourself or others is very strong) also if you've got "old style" bindings you need a moment to properly strap in your boots after the chairlift
but it's one of those "live up to the stereotype" things... like kids with fubu hats are all like "yoyoyo" because that's what they want to be; kids who suck at snowboarding are all like "check out how awesome i am sitting on the hill." that kid in the camoflage jacket laying on his back... i can feel how bad at snowboarding he is just oozing out of the picture. he doesn't want to go because he sucks.
the ones in the pic appear to be in a main thoroughfare, so i wouldn't have any problem just blasting through the middle of them and getting on with my run. you'd be surprised how well shouting the common phrase "get the fuck out of my way you cunt" can work as you move towards someone at high speed.

and there i was, always having problems standing upright on a snowboard without hitting a small hole into the iced snow, or one of us always going downhill mid conversation
same joke goes in reverse on a skis.. look at them, weak bladderd guys, cant hold if for a second, pressing the knees together..doing the plow..
I don't mind the snow plowers, they are generally moving at least. The snowboards adjusting their bindings before going down hill I completely understand as well. I am talking about people doing it on the hill just sitting there in long lines. They don't bother to get out of the way. just sit there with their board up blocking the entire path. Like I said, I have begun having words with them. I see skiers wipe out, they have long skis that also block the way but seldom do they just sit there in long group.
So what you are saying kais, is that I am seeing kids who want to be cool but cannot hack it on the slope so they just sit there afraid to make idiots out of themself again?
This time i test the limits of powder snow skiing with my paramotor. It wen quite well, the speed on the straight part was even frightening! 72Kg of static thrust is A LOT. With a different propeller i am certain i could reach +100 Km/h easily, with this normal one the top speed was approximately 70-80 Km/h.
At the end there is a surprise, perfectly synced with the music, enjoy
It might not seem like it, but when you have the paramotor strapped on to your back, you joints will not simply bend nowhere near the blade.
You can see the piece of garden hose i have at the starter pulley, it is to get the pulley closer to front, so i can reach it more easily.
Also, there is a webbing wound to the cage that helps if you dislocate your shoulder or something similar that lets your hand bend 180 degrees in an unnatural position
