I dont really understand this rich and jelly talk... life doesnt change much when you get rich... i mean, what would you do differently with 10 millions...? there isnt really anything extremely fun that i cant do with 10 thousands as well. and everyone can get 10 thousands some way or another.

I think it's just the psychological effect of realizing you can spend as much as you want, and there will be virtually no negative consequences for it. If I spend 10,000 dollars on something, I've used almost a years worth of my student loans, I can't afford to pay rent, and the government will sent collectors after me in short order.

If I had $10,000,000 I could just laugh and do that 10,000 dollar activity again for the next 1000 days.

Alot of people who come into money in a short amount of time have a hard time dealing with it properly. At very least, I understand what's going on, although I do agree that I wish a little more responsibility was visible.

According to other mojang employee's twitters, they aren't in the office right now as they had renovation workers go in and do work for them while they were at GDC and the work wasn't finished yet when they got back. I think it's a little harder for the minecraft team because the content release habits they have developed mean people demand new and impressive content once a month for them, where as a big faceless game studio would have something like these renovations go on, no one would say anything, and none of the consumers would ever know the difference. They almost make it worse for themselfs by explaining the reason work isn't "as fast" as it was before.

Well, with ten million dollars I wouldn't have to fight to survive for the immediate future, which would free up immeasurable amounts of psychological resources to devote to other things.

i don't know how he's gonna make those work with, say, creepers, if they attack it when you do and they get blown it's kinda dumb, but if they don't trigger the creeper explosion then they're way OP lol.

Apparently right now hostile Mobs don't target pet wolves. So basically, ya, hit a creeper once and you win the fight.

So, now minecraft is all about pokemon fights?
