Is Moddb borked?

As you know, I have my own sub-mods (I am actually producing x-packs for a cohort of mine). Unfortunately, the comments I've been receiving from the public isn't that the mods are good are bad.

What they are saying is that nothing can be downloaded at all.

Is Moddb actually still worth using at all? I was hoping to jump-start a career with Moddb, but if nobody can download my files and give quick feedback, it seems that anything I do is as good as dead in the water from Day 1. Does anyone know of anywhere else I can go then?

There's a few days delay between when you upload the file and when it shows for other people.
