the captchas would be ok if they didnt use O and 0 and Q and B and 8 and 1 and 7 etc similar letters...

This captcha is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody can read this, it will make it so that this community does not grow.

Seriously, use recaptcha, it's free and good.

Turn off your caps lock and you'll be good to go.

But I agree it is a bit hard to see, I think I was lucky.

^^ This (and the fact that it annoyed the crap out of me), is one of the main reasons I posted the tread in the first place.

The truth of this post will be corroborated or invalidated, depending on whether or not something actually *does* get done, now that a simple how-to-fix guide has been provided.

An interesting thought, but recaptcha sometimes gives impossible images.

Edit: Well I guess only the word it doesn't check is impossible. Still, annoying. And recaptcha isn't what I'd call 'easy'.

Okay, I've gone through the Captcha the last 4 times I logged in. No problems.

I think you complainers just suck. Or are bots. L2Captcha.

I managed to enter it correctly again which puts me at 100% success rate with 2 tries. There was even a 1 this time.

I've never gotten it wrong, either. (IIRC)

Some douche apparently tried to log in as me, causing me to get the captcha when I tried to log in just now. Well played. Got it the first try though.

doesnt it even say "there are no zeros"?
my sucess rate is still 100%

none of the captchas say shit... some are case sensitive as well... and they dont even tell that.
