Maintainers

Post by AF »

As I outlined here:

http://darkstars.co.uk/2014/history/

I'll be needing a new maintainer for Shard and somebody to run the everyday business of SpringInfo ( I'll still be doing technical support and hosting but beyond that.. )

I'm still searching for a bug-janitor.

Maybe should post at ZK board. He who uses shard the most, must maintain.

whats "maintainer" in your definition?

what i did with shard:
- get it into the spring release
- keep it working with current spring
- reported / fixed some bugs
- ... things i forgot

didn't i already maintain it? I'll continue doing that if you don't stop me from doing so :)

+1 for someone else as i'm pretty busy, but i'm not sure if we'll find one.

Well I'm not making fancy new features and steering the project forward, it's time for someone else to take the lead or for the project to die. If the decision then is for Shard to simply stay as is, then that's their decision

omnomnom,

Would you be helping take care of it or are you offloading all of the responsibility?

I'm always available for advice and guidance, as I have been for a while, just don't expect me to be able to build something on demand.
