Additional Information | More specific: Fedora 15 package doesn't sync. Fedora 15 self-built spring with packaged gcc 4.6 doesn't sync. Fedora 15 self-built spring with self-built gcc 4.5 doesn't sync. Debian testing/unstable package doesn't sync. Ubuntu 11.04 package does sync (!). They use gcc 4.5. Ubuntu 11.04 self-built spring with self-built gcc 4.6 does sync (!). Ubuntu 11.04 self-built spring with gcc 4.6 (from PPA) doesn't sync. Ubuntu 11.04 self-built spring with gcc 4.5 (packaged) doesn't sync. | ||||||||

I still desync in 0.82.7.1 (so upgrades of other components including gcc 4.6 didn't change that), but me + hoijui didn't desync in master+syncdebug+synctrace. So quite possibly the cause of the code that causes this has been refactored / removed / fixed between 0.82.7.1 and master... In that case the prio should be to get 0.83 out ASAP, so people on newest Fedora and Debian can play online again =) |

maybe it's because the of the gcc-compile fixes? |

as already sayed, we couldn't reproduce this in master.... maybe because of the compile fixes(?) for gcc 4.6 |
